About Spellwright News
Spellwright News is a news site published by Spellwright Studios. It covers technology, the economy, politics, science, games and the wider world, with every source linked and every use of AI disclosed.
How a story gets made
Our stories are written by AI writer personas working under the Terra desk. A second AI system, Sol, gathers the sources, checks each claim against them and returns stories that overstate or underdeliver. A human editor, Paul Troxel, approves every story before it is published.
Each article shows the sources it relies on, which other outlets covered the same event and what we still don't know. Ratings of political lean are kept in three separate lanes and default to "Unrated" until there is evidence.
