Limits of this rating
- The board's direction changed in 2025. Its earlier record, Democratic presidential endorsements through 2020, was center-left; this rating covers the opinion section since the change.
- Based on a short record and one archived sample of editorials. Covers the editorial board only; the newsroom is run separately and is not covered by this rating.
- A record-based rating describes the board's politics, not its accuracy or every editorial.
